How do you guide clients during a session?
Our goal is always to capture genuine and natural moments; that’s where the true emotion lies.
At the same time, we understand that some guidance is important, especially during crucial moments of a wedding or photoshoot. We will gently guide you when needed, in a way that feels easy and natural.
You won’t feel artificial or lost, just a perfect balance between real moments and careful direction, so you feel and look your best.

Black & White Portraits
A professional mobile studio set up at your event, where guests can have high-quality portraits taken and receive printed photos on the spot, along with an online gallery.
Do you work alone or with a team?
It depends on the size and nature of your event.
At allo Photography, Carlos Lima leads the creative direction and personally photographs most sessions and smaller weddings.
For larger events, we work with a trusted team, including our second photographer Katia Borges, Carlos’ wife, who holds a degree in Visual Arts and brings over 20 years of experience, along with additional professionals when needed, ensuring seamless and complete coverage from start to finish.
Do you travel?
Absolutely!
We’re based in Calgary and available throughout Canada and beyond. Whether your session is in Calgary, the Banff Lakes, or anywhere in the world, we’re always open to travel.
Our package pricing remains consistent regardless of location — only travel-related expenses are added when applicable.
Are you authorized to photograph at Banff Lakes and within Canada’s national parks?
Yes, we have full authorization to work as photographers in Canadian national parks, including Banff Lakes, ensuring that all sessions are conducted in accordance with Parks Canada regulations.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes.
I carry full liability insurance, and documentation can be provided to venues upon request.
What does the delivery include?

What is your delivery time?
This is one of our biggest differentiators.
You will typically receive a preview gallery within 48 hours, ready to share.
Final delivery is completed in approximately 10 days, depending on the size and specifics of the project.
How does booking work?
Booking is simple and secure:

- 30% deposit to reserve your date
